HAPPY 118TH BIRTHDAY TO OUR BELOVED CONRAD!
I invite all 16 of the forums residents to gather around the virtual table where our honored guest and his lovely wife are seated side by side at the head. The invitation is, of course, also extended to any and all of Connie's friends and co-workers who would be able to make time in their busy schedules to partake of our humble gathering.
Once everyone is seated, our esteemed administrator (that's me!) will bring out the Black Forest Cake very carefully baked with love for this very occasion. allrecipes.com/Recipe/Black-Forest-Cake-I/Detail.aspx?prop31=3 (if anyone would like to check out the cake I have in mind). The cake is decorated with two large sparker candles and four regular birthday candles. Don't worry, Connie! I would not even try to fit 118 candles on your cake. We'll just settle for a symbolic representation of 29-1/2 years for each candle.
Now we'll just wait a few seconds and when the sparkler candles have burned out, Connie rises and blows out the rest of the candles with a single breath to the delight and applause of all present.
Mary Ellen takes a knife and server, cuts the cake into slices and begins to distribute the pieces to the guests beginning of course with the most important guests of all and that is our Beloved Connie and his Beloved Lilli.
We also have vanilla ice cream should anyone be in the mood for "ala mode" As for beverages, we have wine, sparkling grape juice, coffee, tea, and a variety of sodas.
As the party progress, I would like to take this opportunity to present Connie with my birthday gift to him. Connie, as my gift to you, I present you with a brand new Chevrolet Corvette!
As the lover of sports cars that I understand you are it has always been my heartbreak the the Corvette came on the scene 10 years after you had left it so in this virtual world where money is no object (because there is no money ;D ), I present you with the keys to your new Corvette along with the Corvette, too, make no mistake and along with all that, every roadway in the entire virtual world without a single car on it except yours so go as fast as you want without a chance for an accident. You don't have to worry about a thing. Just hope in, start her up, floor it, open her up and see what she can do. Every asphalt strip in the world is your own private Autobahn! Happy Birthday, Connie
***As Connie and Lilli fade off into the distance on their first ride, Mary Ellen turns to the other party members.***
OK, so! When they get back who wants to be the next to present their birthday gift to Connie?
