Vivien's was such a dark story. I have read and watched so much on her and I respect her for overcoming as much as she could in her day her of Bipolar Disorder. My fiance is Bipolar as well as suffers from IED, and I completely can see why Laurence Olivier would never speak ill of her even to his death. She was a remarkably talented actress and so beautiful, but what she put herself through when filming Streetcar Named Desire we can only imagine. To play an off-balanced character that accurately-- and open ones self to those true to life demons must have been torture. But she pulled it off. I give her credit for her courage, for her love, for her fire, and for her spirit.
