I saw this film in my fist year of film history class because the teacher was teaching us about German expressist cinema and he made us watch this movie in class. At first I thought this movie to be weird until I started to google it to know about the cast and actors and I came across Conrad Veidt, it was there that I learnt that he was also in Casablanca and many other american films (I thought that all actos from the expressionist cinema were unknown or something)...
Of course here Conrad plays the Cesare, a very sinister character
