Funny, now somebody retired and the bidding went down, from over 560 dollars to less than 400 dollars.

When I looked at it, it was still $567.78. My understanding is that E-bay bids never go down. Once you have placed a bid, I don't think you can back out of it. If you've changed your mind I think the only thing you can hope for is to be outbid by someone else.
But man! Over $500 for a photograph! Would Connie and Werner be proud!

No, Mary Ellen. The bid really went a little bit down, but in the meantime came someone else who placed another great bid. I saw it this morning. There were initially 11 bids, then someone retired are remained 7, and now are 9 bids, after another person placed the bid.

I put this on my watch list and got an e-mail saying the bidding had now officially closed. The photo went for $690! Man! Almost $700 for a single photo. I don't care if Werner or Connie know about this and are proud or not, I'M PROUD!!! Yea!!!
