Tell me, how did you get to post something to YouTube that was more than 10 minutes long? I was under the impression that a clip was required to be no longer than 10 minutes and 10 seconds to be posted?

No, Mary Ellen. For certain users youtube provides the possibility of creating clips longer than 15 minutes! I don't know how your account is, but on mine this is possible. Anyway, the limit is at least 15 minutes.
